Firstly, you will receive a gentle cleansing and an exfoliation treatment, customised to your skin. This helps to stimulate the skin’s circulation before we apply the Enzyme mask. The DMK Enzyme mask is brushed onto your skin, and it will gradually dry and harden. While it hardens, you may feel a pulsing sensation, which is due to the enhanced circulation in the skin, the flushing of toxins and increased oxygenation. The mask remains in place for 45 minutes, by which time it will be very stiff. This may feel a little uncomfortable. We then gently remove the mask, using warm water and towels. You’re more than welcome to tee up a podcast or some favourite tunes to listen to during your treatment, otherwise, zone out to our salon’s gentle music.

Unless you have an unusual reaction to the therapy, you should expect minimal side effects . The DMK Enzyme Therapy is a non-invasive treatment and suits all skin types, so there should be no need for downtime after treatment.

You may notice the capillaries in your face appear more prominent immediately after the treatment. This is because the skin has been freshly exfoliated and the blood has been brought to the surface by the mask. After 30-60 minutes, this should subside.

Note that, as with any facial treatment, you might not have the best hair afterwards! We try our best to avoid getting products in your hair, but it can happen, so be prepared for that.

For best results of DMK Enzyme Therapy, a series of treatments is recommended, however a single treatment will give you noticeable results. Your skin will appear more revitalised and radiant.
